Assembly of God

Welcome to the new year, full of potential and possibilities. Perhaps, for some last year was a glowing success, and the end of the year was celebrated with thanksgiving and contentment. And for others it wasn’t so great, with problems in health, financial security or interpersonal relationships, leading to disappointment and anguish. In those circumstances, the only thing people can control is their reactions to the situations. But, if better choices can be made, mistakes become learning opportunities. If people can change the way they do things, they can expect different results. Take the opportunity to start fresh in new year by “Preparing for the New Year,” Romans 13:11-14. Good beginnings often lead to good endings.

The Wednesday Bible study begins a new series, “Essentials of Faith,” by Francis Chan, a world-class speaker, author, pastor and teacher. The first session is titled “Who is God?” Studying this series will bring a new depth of understanding of what the Bible teaches about who God is. A brief video lesson will follow by guided discussion and student interaction.
