LW lights up: . nal holiday lights tours are Dec. 19-20

The final tours of the GRF Minibus service’s annual Leisure World Holiday Lights Tour will be held today, Dec. 19, at 5 and 6:45 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 20, at 5 p.m. The evening bus tours allow residents to view holiday light displays within Leisure World from the comfort of a Minibus.

Seating on the bus tours is first come, first served. GRF Minibuses seat approximately 16 passengers. Holiday attire is welcome.

At the conclusion of each tour, all passengers who need a ride will be taken home or to any other location inside Leisure World. For more information, contact Grant Winford at 562-431-6586, ext. 2372.

Jami Reed decorated their unit in Mutual 8, 179-E off Oakmont Road.

Pam and Bill Turner of Mutual 9, 207-L, at 13201 El Dorado Drive, decorated their window display containing trains, six moving Santakin characters and a collection of Department 56 miniature houses that have been collected since 1986. The Christmas village all began with the Dickens train station.

The farm animals are out of the Big Red Barn over at Sharon and Jerry Woodruff's house, located at 13331 Twin Hills Drive, 56-L, in Mutual 12.
