Community Karaoke
Anna Le never misses Wednesday night’s karaoke. She has a powerful voice and engaged the audience while singing “Don’t Worry Baby.” Mariza Jouquin entertained the audience with “Dancing Queen.” With a strong husky voice, Ed Jablonski sang “Rainy Days and Sundays.”
Wayne Urban always gets attention with “Swinging Doors” by Merle Haggard. Arleen Cullison had fun with “Boots are Made for Walking.” Julie Nulad sang a fine “You Don’t Know Me.”
Beautiful duets were done by Kyung Ju and Bob Barnum, Tony Tupas and Susan Kelleghan, Elizabeth Butterfield and Donald Horning, Vinny Corrdenti, Carmen Edwards, Vito Villomar, Ellen Brannigan and Kenny Notorleva.
Each Monday, a small group meets in Clubhouse 6 to practice a new song or perfect a favorite. The group meets from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday nights are karaoke parties in Clubhouse 1 beginning at 5:30 and everyone is welcome to be a singer. Singers always appreciate an audience.
