Assembly of God Assembly of God

Service/Gathering Times: Sunday morning at 10:30 in Clubhouse 3, Room 2; Wednesday morning Bible study at 10 in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Hymn Sing is held on the fourth Sunday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby.

Sermon for this week: Christmas is a short three-and-a-half weeks away. The coming days will be filled with all the traditional tasks and busyness that accompany the Christmas season. The malls and the Internet will be full of shoppers on a common mission: finding the perfect gift. When a gift is exactly what someone needs or wants, both the receiver and the giver experience joy.

Pastor Chuck Franco will bring his sermon titled “Searching for the Perfect Gift,” from Luke 2:11-12 this Sunday, Dec. 4. Leisure World Assembly of God will celebrate this wonderful season all four Sundays of December with Christmas music and sermons around the Christmas theme, culminating in a very special Christmas Day service on Dec. 25. All LW residents and friends are invited.

Bible Study: The study of the book of Titus continues to draw parallels to today’s society and issues of modern culture, demonstrating the absolute consistency of Biblical truth.

The group meets every Wednesday at 10 a.m. Students are engaged, and the discussion is thought-provoking.
