Womens’ Golf

Forty-three members of the Women’s Golf Club enjoyed the cool, brisk, fall weather as they participated in the weekly tournament on Nov. 1. They competed for low gross and low net. They were also challenged to hit the ball from the 8th tee directly within the circle surrounding the hole. The club congratulates Stella Yoon and Sang An, who each hit the golf ball from the tee box into the circle around hole 8.

The flight winners were: Flight A— Low Gross: Veronica Chang, 26; Low Net: Jae Song, 26; Hole 8 Circle: Stella Yoon.

Flight B— Low Gross: Joann Lim, 32; Low Net: Nina De Rosa, 27; Hole 8 Circle: Sang An.

Flight C— Low Gross: Mary Ann Moore, 31; Low Net: Sue Elliott, 24.

Flight D— Low Gross: A three-way tie between Joyce Basch, Emiko Uchiyama, and Dale Quinn, 36; Low Net: Anne Walshe, 23.
