Art League will spotlight sculptor inspired by movement
Raquel Tal will be the featured artist at the LW Art League’s “Spotlight On The Artist” event on Friday, Nov. 11, in Clubhouse 4 from 1-3:30 p.m. Tal will showcase her many sculptures. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Originally from Israel, Tal has attended several music, painting and sketching workshops. She learned the art of sculpture from Iris Huff in Irvine, but her favorite artist is Richard McDonald because his works touched her heart. She prefers doing sculptures of human figures, and dancers showing movements using clay and bronze. Her works are inspired by movement, beauty of the human body, modern dance and international folk dance. For more information, call club president Susie Ralston at 562-431-4124.
