OC Registrar Ballot Box is Open

For the upcoming California Gubernatorial Recall Election, the official ballot drop box in Leisure World is now open, according to the OC Registrar’s Office.

It is located at the Amphitheater bus hub next to the U.S. Post Box near the Admininstration Building on Golden Rain Road.

It will be open 24/7 during the voting period, from Aug. 16Sept. 14. Ballots will be picked up daily On Election Day, Tuesday, Sept. 14, two county employees will be assigned to the boxin the afternoon and evening to assist with traffic flow and lock the ballot mail slots at 8 p.m. or after the last voter.
