LW POOL CLUB The LW Pool Club held its monthly tournament on April 26. There were 11, two-person teams playing 369 nine-ball. Each team played six games. Partners alternated shots and received one point for making the three ball, two points for the six, and three points for the nine. Each game a team could score anywhere from 0-6 points. The LW Chess Club meets every Friday in Clubhouse 3, Room 7, from 1-4:30 p.m. Beginners lessons are available. LW WOMEN'S GOLF CLUB The LW Women’s Golf Club will hold the first annual Ladies & Gents Putting Contest, sponsored by Gasper Monteer Realty, on Tuesday, July 29. There will be five different greens and lengths. Players will meet at 7 a.m. at the course, with an 8 a.m. start time. There will be prize money of $100 as well as other prizes. Refreshments will be served before the contest.
