LW ANNIVERSARY Jay and Connie Young were married 72 years ago on July 25, 1953, and will celebrate with friends and family. When Jay and Connie were at the University of Redlands, Jay was an All-League basketball player and Connie was a song leader. After graduating, Jay was drafted into the Army during the Korean conflict and Connie stayed to finish college and get a provisional teaching credential

LW BIRTHDAY Jacklyn “Jackie” Taylor celebrated 80 years with style, aloha, and cake galore. The Mutual 17 resident knows how to throw a party; and her birthday celebration last weekend was no exception.
