CRIBBAGE CLUB The Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday at noon in Clubhouse 1. Refreshments are served from noon-12:15 p.m. and anyone arriving by 12:15 is assured a place to play. LW POOL CLUB On Dec. 4, the two pool leagues met to end the fall league season with an evening sweepstakes event. The American League that plays on Mondays played each team in the National League, which plays on Wednesdays. Each team played every other team one game and all three players rotated turns in a game of 8 ball. Before the sweepstakes started, there was pizza, salad and desserts,

GRF will kick off holiday season with tree lighting


HOLIDAY EVENTS This year’s Christmas tree lighting, hosted by the GRF Recreation Department, will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 4:30 p.m. at Veterans Plaza. Come sing along to hymns by The Jolly Holidays Carolers of Los Angeles, who will lead the holiday merrymaking alongside Santa and LW’s elves (from the LW Theater Club). The fabulous tree lighting will be held after the performance.
