Hui O Hula


Hui O Hula, the Leisure World Hawaiian dance group, offers hula lessons on Tuesday upstairs in Clubhouse 6 from 1:15 p.m., and on Thursday outdoors at Veteran Plaza, also from 1:15. Class meets indoors in Clubhouse 3 during unsuitable weather. Hula is a moderate workout for the body and an excellent exercise for the mind. All are welcome to class, either to hula or just to enjoy the music and watch.

Those who have received a letter with a spot assignment should go to the Recreation Office, located in Building 5, to complete the required paperwork. SATURDAY MORNING DANCE CLASS There are two dance classes every Saturday morning in Clubhouse 6 (second floor). In September, the classes are nightclub two-step at 9 a.m., followed by cha-cha at 10. GRF MOVIES A matinee of the Oscarwinning- film “Nomadland” will be screened on Saturday, Sept. 21, in Clubhouse 4.
