It is time for LW Men’s Golf Club members and those who want to join the club to pay dues of $15 for the upcoming 2026 season. A cloudy Feb. 10 morning brought 35 women to the golf course for the weekly LW Women’s Golf Club tournament. The club plays a weekly nine hole tournament every Tuesday. Dues are $30 a year, which includes the weekly tournament. Play for the day was low gross, low net, and birdies. The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets every Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 5. The club met on the first two Wednesdays in February. There were 23 scores above 300 and eight bingos (i.e. the use of all seven tiles in one move.) Suthy Edgar led with six bingos and four scores higher than 300. The Party Bridge Club meets on the first, second, fourth and fifth Fridays of every month in Clubhouse 1 at noon. Everyone is welcome.
