Ten golfers of the Leisure World Men’s Golf League competed at the 5,600-yard par 71 Meadowlark Golf Course in Huntington Beach on Aug. 22. Six of the 10 players shot at or below net par. The Leisure World Scrabble Club meets every Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 5. New members are welcome. The club met on July 30 and on all four Wednesdays in August.
