The LW Men’s Golf Club’s second tournament of the month was held Aug. 27. Fiftysix golfers teed off at 7:30 a.m. at the 1,680-yard par 54 Turtle Lake Golf Course. LW Bocce Ball hosts show Sept. 5


The LW Bocce Club will begin its fall season Sept. 7-13. To kick off the season, the club is hosting a free concert at Veterans Plaza on Friday, Sept. 5, at 2:30 p.m. David Anthony and David Williams—members of the Hollywood Stones, who performed this summer at the Amphitheater— will play Beatles and Rolling Stone songs for everyone’s enjoyment. The LW Chess Club meets every Friday in Clubhouse 3, Room 7, from 1-4:30 p.m. Beginners lessons are available.
