The Emergency Buddy System, a group created and organized by residents of Mutual 2, recently held its first emergency drill at “Parcel A”, (one of its seven Emergency Parcels) with a select group of volunteers. LEISURE WORLD LIONS CLUB The Produce Box Program, sponsored by the new Leisure World Lions Club, will distribute 12-pound boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables for $10 (cash only) today, April 23, at the Clubhouse 6 parking lot from 10 a.m.-noon. GOLDEN AGE FOUNDATION EVENTS Golden Age Foundation (GAF) will sponsor a multicultural performance on Saturday, July 18 at the Amphitheater to showcase the beauty of the diverse cultures in Leisure World. This is a new program sponsored by the GAF, and the GAF is looking for local talents to perform in a 90-minute show on the stage of the Amphitheater in costumes to showcase their specialties.
