Friday Golf Ten golfers and a new member (Matthew Paek) from the Leisure World Men’s Golf League played Sept. 2 at the challenging 5,800-yard par 70 Riverview Golf Course in Santa Ana. Riverview is a full-size course with significant elevation changes, doglegs, numerous Santa Ana River crossings, and sloping fairways (always toward the riverbed). The temperature was in the 70s at the 7 a.m.

NIKKEI CLUB The Nikkei Club will meet on Saturday, Sept. 17, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 11:30 a.m. Bingo will be the activity for this month. The club will provide bento boxes for lunch for $10.
