OLLI—Feel Great Again Class


Leisure World resident Holly Weber will teach Feel Great Again: Understand and Maximize Your Brain Bio-chemicals through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at California State University, Long Beach. Joyful Line Dance Class is ….

Joyful Line Dance Class is ….


Joyful Line Dance Class is led by Jojo Weingart at Veterans Plaza Wednesdays from 2-3:30 p.m., except on the fourth week, when class starts at 3. All participants are required to wear face masks and follow social distance guidelines. Here Joyful Line Dancers step out to an oldie but goodie, “Night Fever,” the popular line dance from the 1970s. All shareholders are welcome to join.

The Men’s Friday Golf played at Willowick Golf Course in Huntington Beach Sept. 11. Nine men played on the long par 71, 6000-yard course. All scores are net (actual score minus handicap). GOLDEN AGE FOUNDATION Lynn Vienna, a longtime member of the Golden Age Foundation Board known for her steadfast commitment to Leisure World, was recently honored with emeritus status and recognition on GAF’s perpetual appreciation plaque.
