The CDs for Seniors Club meets six times per year. The club will meet June 19 at 11:45 a.m. at Estrada’s Mexican Grille on the corner of Valley View and Cerulean in Garden Grove. Members will pay $5 toward their meal, and the club will pick up the rest. This meeting will be pure entertainment, with presentations by two club members.

LW ORCHESTRA The Leisure World Orchestra will feature guest soprano soloist Carol Winston singing popular opera selections at its June 7 concert devoted to theatrical music, held in Clubhouse 2 at 1 p.m. Admission is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted. The Community Gardens now have an online hub: Garden Buzz, available at lwsb.com under the “News” tab. There, people can find the latest news about the Community Gardens, read stories, learn gardening tips and share comments and suggestions. The Leisure World Library has received its third donation of $3,500 from the Friends of the LW Library this year. The Friends of the LW Library are on track to donate $21,000 to the library over the course of 2025. These funds are used to ensure the library can continue to purchase physical books, audio and visual materials, and supplies to process the items for use by Leisure World residents.
