League of Women Voters rep. to speak

SENIORS FOR PEACE

The Seniors for Peace and the Democratic clubs will host a joint meeting on Friday, Oct. 2, at 2 p.m. in Clubhouse 2. Steph Campbell from the League of Women Voters explain and clarify the propositions on the Nov. 3 ballot.

The propositions on ballots can be confusing and some are contradictory to others. Campbell’s explanations will be in depth and nonpartisan, so this will be an opportunity for anyone, Democrats and Republicans alike, to get a better understanding of the propositions. Campbell will answer questions from the audience as time allows.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government. It helps shape public policy through education and advocacy. The League of Women Voters never supports or opposes any political party or candidate.
