MISDEMEANOR THEFT (UNDER $950): 8

•Aug. 4, 10:05 a.m., 1.8 Acres

A resident reported someone removed two shovels from the 1.8 Acres site.

•Aug. 5, 9:41 a.m., Mutual 7

A resident reported roses missing from her front garden.

•Aug. 7, 6:45 p.m., Mutual 16

A resident reported her GRF-issued vehicle decal was missing.

•Aug. 13 6:45 p.m., Mutual 1

A resident reported her gas cap was missing from her vehicle in the carport.

• Aug. 15, 11:50 a.m., Mutual 17

A resident reported a bicycle was missing and the bike lock was cut.

• Aug. 18, 9:21 p.m., Mutual 11

A resident reported her laundry missing from the laundry

room.

• Aug. 24, 12:40 p.m., Mutual 1

A resident reported a bicycle missing and a bike lock cut.

A resident found a scooter that was reported missing in a carport.

FELONY THEFT (OVER $950): 1

•Aug. 1, 6 a.m., Mutual 2

A resident reported she lost her keys to her vehicle a week prior. Using another set of keys, she went to her vehicle and found it missing. Seal Beach police were called to take a report.

•Aug. 1, 7:07 a.m., Mutual 14

A neighbor found a resident wandering. Person was taken home safely by Security.

•Aug. 29, 6:34 p.m., Mutual 2

A resident became lost and called Security to be taken home safely.

•Aug. 30, 10:03 a.m., CH 3

A resident reported someone touched the hood of her car, leaving trails of dust.

• Aug. 18, 11:15 a.m., Mutual 3

A resident found scratches and a dent on her parked vehicle.

• Aug. 21, 3:45 a.m., Mutual 10

A resident found scratches on the paint and door of a vehicle, and the weather stripping was punctured. Nothing was removed from the vehicle.

•Aug. 28, 9:18 a.m., Mutual 6

A resident found sunflowers from her garden cut and tossed in the bushes.

A resident complained of loud TV from neighboring unit. The neighbor reduced the volume.

• Aug. 15, 6:11 p.m., Mutual 11

A resident complained of loud TV from neighboring unit. The neighbor reduced the volume.

• Aug. 17, 12:37 a.m., Mutual 14

A resident complained of music coming from a neighboring unit. No noise was detected at the scene.

TRAFFIC INCIDENTS: 11

•Aug. 1, 8:37 p.m., 1220 Northwood Road

A resident struck a parked vehicle while parallel parking.

•Aug. 4, 1:30 p.m., Del Monte and Golden Rain Road

A resident drove a vehicle through the fence and into the channel. The resident did not need transportation to the hospital.

•Aug. 7, 7:12 a.m. Interlachen Road and St. Andrews Drive A resident struck a parked vehicle and fled the scene. The driver was later identified.

•Aug. 11, 2:30 p.m., 13121 Oak Hills Drive A resident struck a parked vehicle.

•Aug. 21, 10 a.m., Mutual 7

An unknown person struck a resident’s parked vehicle and fled the scene.

•Aug. 21, 4:38 p.m., Amphitheater Parking Lot An unknown person struck a GRF employee’s parked vehicle and fled the scene.

•Aug. 24, 10:06 a.m., 1.8 Acres

A resident found a fence surrounding a garden plot knocked over.

•Aug. 25, 2:40 p.m., St. Andrews Exit Gate A resident struck a stop sign and fled the scene. The driver was later identified.

•Aug. 26, 12:29 p.m., 13280 St. Andrews Drive An unknown person struck a resident’s vehicle and fled.

•Aug. 27, 7:30 p.m., 13521 St. Andrews Drive Two vehicles collided; each person blamed the other for the collision.

•Aug. 28, 10:09 p.m., 13181 Del Monte Road A person riding an e-bike struck a parked vehicle and fled the scene.

A resident reported a barking dog. No barking heard at the scene.

A resident reported a barking dog. Security advised the owner.

A resident stated dogs scared her cat while walking. The cat ran away from its owner.

A person near the globe area urinated in the foliage. Police were called.

A resident caused a disturbance at a club function. Security kept the peace.

A resident was performing auto repairs. The resident stopped work after being advised it’s against policy.

Security assisted the Mutual with the towing of a vehicle from Mutual property.

• Aug. 4, 11:25 p.m., Mutual 14

A resident was frightened when she received a photo of a delivery from Nordstrom on her phone. No issue found.

Residents were involved in a verbal altercation over possible theft.

A person on foot refused to stop at the gate. Police were called and escorted the person out of the community.

A resident refused to leave game room at closing time.

A visitor left a sleeping child in a vehicle. Security advised the visitor, and the visitor and child left the community.

A resident was upset about the gardening near her unit.

Security confronted an unauthorized visitor, who then left the community.

Security kept the peace in a family dispute.

A traffic light was facing the wrong direction,possibly struck by truck. Service Maintenance corrected issue.

A resident reported a man was sitting on her patio, no person found.

An unauthorized person entered a unit. Police were called to the scene.

A resident reported a vendor parked in yellow zone. The vendor moved the vehicle.

Resident complained of service received at the North Gate.

• Aug. 22, 9:20 p.m., Main Gate

Ongoing issue with resident’s son attempting to gain access to the community. Police were called, and the son left.

Ongoing dispute between neighbors about a variety of issues.

Ongoing issue with resident’s son attempting to gain unauthorized access to the community.

A resident reported a neighbor parks too close to their car in the carport.

•Aug. 28, 3:25 p.m., Optum

A visitor to Health Care Center caused a disturbance. The person was taken into custody by police.

A resident stated a person was on her patio. No person was found.

Security assisted police at a unit for a welfare check.

Police arrived at a domestic dispute scene; kept the peace.
