Where We Live Club
The Where We Live Club will meet on Thursday, Sept. 17, from 6-7 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. Note the special meeting date due to the regular meeting night falling on Labor Day. The meeting has been moved to the third Thursday of the month.
The club will host GRF Executive Director David Norvell as its special guest. Norvell will reflect on his first nine months serving Leisure World, discuss the progress that has been made, share his vision for the future, and answer questions from shareholders.
The evening will also include the annual election of Where We Live Club officers, making this one of the club’s most important meetings of the year. Shareholders’ participation helps shape the future direction of the club and ensures it continues to represent the interests of engaged shareholders throughout the community. Strong communities don’t happen by accident—they are built by residents who stay informed, ask thoughtful questions, and participate in the decisions that shape their future. Every shareholder has a voice, and when that voice is informed, it becomes one of the most valuable assets the LW community has.
The Where We Live Club exists to encourage that kind of engagement. Each month, the club brings community leaders and residents together to discuss important issues affecting Leisure World. It aims to provide an opportunity for open dialogue, questions and a better understanding of how the community operates.
