Cribbage Club

The Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday at noon in Clubhouse 1. Refreshments are served from noon-12:15 and anyone arriving by 12:15 will be assured a place to play. Each player pays $1 to play and those finishing in the top four scores will be awarded prize money the following week. Seven games are played each week.

July 28 was the semi-annual club meeting and luncheon for the election of officers. The club provided deli sandwiches, chips and cookies. Potsy Frank and Susan Parks served everyone, and Melinda Cowan provided an assortment of other snacks.

The current officers were voted back in: Marilyn Chelsvig, president; Mike Rosu, vice president; Julie Milburn, treasurer; and Mary Holder, secretary. Susan Parks and Potsy Frank will continue as hostesses through August, setting up and serving refreshments. Dave LaCascia and Sandy Demers have volunteered to do the set up and clean up of refreshments starting in September. The club appreciates all who serve and give of their time to keep the club going.

July 28 winners: Marilyn Chelsvig, first place with a perfect score of 847, earning another star; Guta Basner, 827, second; Potsy Frank, 826, third; Marie McGuire, 822, fourth.
