Donate blood to help others April 3

The Red Cross will hold a blood drive on Friday, April 3, at the Leisure World Optum HealthCare Center from 9 a.m.3 p.m. The Red Cross’s goal is to collect 28 units of blood. Donors will be rewarded with a Red Cross Life Is Good t-shirt.

Blood donations are vital for routine and emergency surgeries, especially for cardiac health. They provide necessary blood volume to replace loss during procedures, maintain blood pressure, and deliver oxygen to tissues.
