Karaoke Club

On Wednesday nights, Clubhouse 1 comes alive with music and happy chatter for the Karaoke Club’s weekly karaoke nights held from 5:30-9:30 p.m. On Feb. 25, Sally Glausser was positively vivacious as she delivered the lively classic “Love Potion #9.” Thirty-five Leisure World residents kept the evening hopping with a wide variety of popular hits, and members were delighted to welcome a few new performers who weren’t a bit shy about belting out their song choices.

A casual group of karaoke enthusiasts also gathers for weekly rehearsal sessions every Monday from 1-3 p.m. in Clubhouse 6. These practice sessions are an opportunity to try out a new song, build confidence, or get started sharing one’s voice with a funloving crowd. Everyone is welcome.
