DANCERS & MIXERS

The Dancers & Mixers Club dance will be held Tuesday, Jan. 6, in Clubhouse 4 from 7-9 p.m. The club dances to live ballroom dance music provided by musician Linda Herman. Expect foxtrots, cha-chas, tangos, line dancing, waltzes and polkas.

Anyone who doesn’t know how to do all of these dances won’t be alone. Having something new to learn is a good way to stay young, and dancing is a great way to enjoy life. People are invited to come with partners or on their own: many solo dancers will find neighbors in similar situations.

The Dancers & Mixers is a small club that’s been in Leisure World since the 1980s, meeting once a month. Dances are free but donations are accepted. People are encouraged to bring their own snacks and beverages, plus some to share. For more information, call 562-431-1257.
