Where We Live Club
The Where We Live Club celebrates its accomplishments over the year, showcasing the impact of informed and engaged residents, including:
• Encouraging qualified candidates to run for their Mutual elections.
• Held a bilingual (Korean/English) forum.
• Supported Mutual director campaigns, resulting in 90% of club-supported candidates being elected.
• Secured access to the general ledger and financial reports. Looking ahead to the new year, the club believes that progress requires continued community involvement and strong leadership. The 2026 GRF Board election process begins now for evennumbered Mutuals (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16). The Where We Live Club encourages candidates committed to transparency, stability, and responsible oversight to apply.
Ideal candidates will have a background in business, finance, management, or organizational leadership and are willing to ask tough questions and protect community resources. They will be ready to oversee policies, budgets, and the executive director’s performance.
The club’s key priorities for 2026 will be to continue pushing the GRF Board to review management and reduce expenses.
