The American Ballet Theatre’s acclaimed production of “The Nutcracker,” choreographed by Alexei Ratmansky, is now celebrating its 10th season at Segerstrom Center. This dazzling performance features world-class dancers, gorgeous sets and costumes by Tony Award winner Richard Hudson, and Tchaikovsky’s timeless score performed live by Pacific Symphony. The beloved story follows young Clara, who receives a nutcracker doll at her family’s Christmas party. That night, in her dreams, the nutcracker comes to life as a handsome prince and leads her on a magical journey filled with dancing snowflakes, waltzing flowers, and an army of playful mice.
