Sign-ups for the holiday line dance party and lunch are now open

JOYFUL LINE DANCE

The Joyful Line Dance Club will have a holiday party and lunch from California Pizza Kitchen on Thursday, Dec. 4, in Clubhouse 2 at 10 a.m. The cost is $12 for members and $22 for nonmembers. People can sign up with the club’s treasurer Chong Hee Kim.

The club meets on Thursdays from 10 a.m.-noon in Clubhouse 2. It offers dances for beginners and more experienced dancers with a brief break in between. Albert Comia leads the first hour of the class for beginners. After a break, Karen Kei continues the class with more challenging routine for intermediate and advanced dancers.

People are welcome to stay for the duration of a class or just attend the first or second half of it. Exercise shoes are advised; no flip flops or sandals. All attendees must be members of the club. The cost is $20 per calendar year. For more information, text 562-301-5339.
