Community Karaoke
The Karaoke Club’s karaoke parties are a chance to escape and enjoy a variety of music every Wednesday from 5:30-9:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 1. Singers are anxious to entertain.
On Sept. 10, Paul Yi gave a mellow “Casablanca.” Donna Cooper, dressed as a cowgirl, sang a country tune.
Beautiful ballads were sung by Julie Nulad, Elizabeth Butterfield and Mariza Jouquin. Mellow sounding Richard Yokomi is easy listening.
Manuel and Carmen Burgos were new voices. A popular gospel song by Frank Farmer engaged. It was a busy evening with 40 singers.
Karaoke practice sessions are held Mondays from 1-3 p.m. upstairs in Clubhouse 6.
