LW Gong Club

Over 100 guests came to the Aug. 29 Gong Club show at Clubhouse 2. Everyone enjoyed the great performances by talented LW musicians. Guests participated in a best-dressed parade and four winners took home trophies and other prizes for being “hot hot hot!” The group of musicians stepped away from their expected styles of music and promoted their talents under a different light offering softer sing-along classics and more romantic style dancing. There was a very happy energy in the air, all night long.

The next LW Gong Club show will be Friday, Sept. 26, in Clubhouse 2. Happy hour starts at 6 p.m.

Anyone who has experience and talent playing the flute, the fiddle, guitar, tambourine or any other fall festival-type instrument should contact club President Lu DeSantis no later than Sept. 15. Call 310-686-4763 to reserve a place in the show’s lineup.
