Learn the classics enjoyed by all on Thursdays in CH 2

JOYFUL LINE DANCE

The Joyful Line Dance Club meets on Thursdays from 10 a.m.-noon in Clubhouse 2. The club divides its classes into two parts with a brief break in between— for beginners and more experienced dancers.

Each class begins with “Jo ‘n’ Jo Tango,” “Chilly Cha Cha,” “New York, New York” and oth-ers under the guidance of Albert Comia.

Karen Kei leads the second hour of the class with intermediate to advanced dances and introduces a couple of new line dances each month. This month, members are learning “Bosa Nova.”

People are welcome to stay for the two-hour class or just attend the first or second half of it. Membership is $20 per calendar year. Exercise shoes are advised; no flip flops or sandals. Everyone who wants to attend must register first.
