LAPIDARY & JEWELRY CLUB

The Lapidary & Jewelry Club received a Peter Hayes Grant through the Golden Age Foundation (GAF). The club used the grant to purchase two new Cabking machines, which are used to shape and polish stones. The club now has five of these machines.

These Cabking machines had become so popular that club members frequently experienced wait times to use them. The addition of the two new machines has alleviated this problem.

The club and its members are extremely grateful for the generosity of the GAF.

“As we know, the participation of Leisure World residents in clubs like ours contributes to their health and well being not only physically and mentally but as an opportunity to meet socially as well,” said club President Greg Meyers.

Anyone who is curious about what the club has to offer can stop by Clubhouse 4 to take a tour.
