Learn about cognitive decline and hearing loss on Thursday, Aug. 14

The Long Beach/Lakewood Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association of America will have an informational meeting, with a Q& A session on Thursday, Aug. 14, from 4-5 p.m. at the Weingart Center, 5200 Oliva Ave., Lakewood, 90712.

The attendees will learn how the hearing loss affects cognitive skills and emotional well-being. The chapter meets on the second Thursday of every month. The meetings are captioned, free and open to the public, and provide a friendly place to ask questions, find solutions, and learn about technology that makes living with hearing loss easier.
