‘Christmas in July’ show is July 25 in Clubhouse 2

GONG CLUB

The Gong Club will host a Christmas in July show on Friday, July 25, in Clubhouse 2, starting with a happy hour at 6 p.m.

The Cool Blue Ensemble led by Richard Freedman will return to the stage.

People are welcome to join in to help set up the show and get in the Christmas mood. The event is BYOB. The club will provide snacks.

The party is free, though donations are appreciated. Gratuity for the Cool Blue Ensemble will be collected separately and presented directly to the musicians.

Games begin with a snowball “fight.” Guests will be asked to parade in a conga line to show off their ugly Christmas shirts. The best ugly shirt will receive a gift.

Other acts include “commercial breaks” which will provide information about fun stuff people can do in LW.

“Taco Tuesday Jimmy” has donated a few gifts, Yevette Louie has donated a beautiful lapidary gift, and Bev Bender brings the happy with “laugh discounts.” Guest Grandma Ellen Brannigan will share her rendition of “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Afterwards, plan to dance and party.
