LW Korean Community Church
LW Korean Community Church (LWKCC) celebrate its 15th anniversary on June 8. The service began by remembering the grace of God that allowed the founding of the church. God protected the church with his perfect grace and showed the direction the church should take in the future.
Participating in the gospel is a joy to all of members of LWKCC. When spreading the gospel, the essence is more important than the method. The essence of the Gospel is the attitude of exhorting, serving, thanking, and serving with God’s heart for others.
The church choir began the service with H. R. Evans’ sacred chorus titled, “Blessing.” Pastor Lee Dae-heon, who serves as a pastor in Santa Monica, gave a welcoming speech to members.
The anniversary service also featured an elder and deacon appointment service. The service was held amidst the congratulations of the new pastor’s family and many church members.
The theme of the service was “A Church that is an Example to Believers,” and Pastor Song Jong-myeong encouraged everyone to live a life of faith without regrets, with a sense of ownership and loyalty in all things.
He said that the labor of love covers all faults and becomes a blessing that sanctifies the church. He also emphasized to the new elders and deacons that faith grows where the word of God flows and asked them to become the seeds of that growth.
After the service, the congregation had a hearty meal to share and to encourage fellowship between members and the pastors.
LWKCC holds a worship in the sanctuary at 14000 Church Place every Sunday at 11:50 a.m. to “plant God’s will in the ground.” The early morning prayer service led by the senior pastor is held at 6 a.m. from Tuesday to Saturday.
The church is next to the St. Andrews Gate. For more information, call 714-323-0897 or email yongjang10@gmail.com.
