The annual Mike Mooney Eight Ball Tournament was held on March 22 in Clubhouse 2. Mike Mooney was president of the Leisure World Pool Club for a number of years. Mooney was good at making bank shots, so once a year the club gives a prize to the player who can make the most called bank shots. This year the prize was $100.

On the final night of the Monday spring pool league, The Snipers clinched the title, even though they lost a close match to The Renegades, by a 7-6 score. The Snipers finished with 76 wins and 54 losses, two games ahead of Dead Eye. Dead Eye finished strong, beating I Don’t Care 9-4. Ray Friedrichsen of Dead Eye scored six out of seven points and won both of his singles matches.
