The Joyful Line Dance meets on Thursdays from 10 a.m.noon in Clubhouse 2. The first half hour is for beginners and includes an easy-to-follow routine. The second hour and a half is for intermediate and advanced dancers, including the new dances learned over the past few months. The club will have a summer dance party on Thursday, July 10, from 10 a.m.-noon in Clubhouse 2 with a group photo-op.

Leisure Leggers president Tom Pontac was rolling down the beach trail in the Pirates 5K race recently, placing second in his age group. Competing with him was LW friend Vince Goins. The race director, Caren Ware, honored Goins with a special medal for supporting Pontac after his wife was unable to do the race. LW BICYCLE GROUP The LW Bicycle Group stopped for a break and a selfie at the Port of Long Beach.
