The City Council will hold a public hearing related to raising its water and sewer rates on Monday, July 14, at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 211 Eighth Street, Seal Beach. Police issue warnings for violating new ‘daylighting’ parking law


PARKING ENFORCEMENT California Assembly Bill 413, otherwise known as the “Daylighting Law,” took effect on Jan. 1, 2025. Recently, motorists who park too close to a crosswalk may have noticed a printed informational flyer or a parking citation warning placed on their windshields. These materials are part of the Seal Beach Police Department's education campaign related to the bill.
