LW Gong Club
Autumn folk-style music rang out from Clubhouse 2 at the LW Gong Club’s Sept. 26 month-end party.
The club featured entertainment from LW’s songbird Nina DeRosa and her nephew Logan Mark, both on guitar. Doors opened at 6 p.m. and volunteers helped decorate tables with fall decorations. Some families brought homemade dinner and then picked dessert from the free snack table during the pre-show
Community Karaoke
Karaoke parties are held every Wednesday in Clubhouse 1 from 5:30-9:30 p.m.
Singers at the Oct. 1 karaoke party were captivating and they were joined by an attentive audience.
Celebrating the season, Paul Yi sang “Autumn Leaves” and Ellen Brannigan chose “Shine on Harvest Moon.” Donald Horning delivered a favorite country-western hit. Donna Cooper surprised with “Honky Tonk Angel.”
