GOLDEN AGE FOUNDATION The Golden Age Foundation helped 350 LW residents safely dispose of more than 650 pounds of spent household batteries at a drop-off event on Nov. 15. This group of enthusiastic GAF volunteers made the inaugural collection effort possible. It was the first opportunity to recycle batteries in LW since September when rising costs forced the shutdown of a previous collection program.
