The Spring Bocce Ball Tournament is well underway with sunny weather and a great start. Last week, teams competed in the first week of play and will continue over the next six weeks until the first week of June, weather permitting. The finals for this spring tournament will take place soon after that. The club is currently recruiting volunteers to help with the upcoming pizza party in mid-June.

On April 17, In the Money was the big winner of the Monday Pool League by beating PJJ's 9-4; they won five of the six singles matches and Ken Harpham scored five points. The last Guys and Gals Tournament was played in January due to weather issues over the past three months. On April 19, the tournament was played again under sunny skies and warm temperatures. Teams of various skilled golfers of one man and one woman vied for best net scores (gross score minus handicap), plus two circle holes (shots within a 5-foot radius are rewarded), and two closest to the pin challenges.
