The Golden Age Foundation (GAF) will hold the last shredding service of the year on Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. in the Clubhouse 2 parking lot. In order to have the best service possible, the GAF reminds residents of the following rules: • Residents are asked to put documents in untied plastic or brown paper bags. • Do not arrive earlier than 10 a.m. • Put bags on the front passenger

AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY The American Legion Auxiliary’s recent meeting included three honorary guests. The day started with guest speaker Cynthia Mayfield, who is the District 29 Girls State cochairman. She also is chairman for Veterans Affairs and Resources (VAAR). She supplied the group with information and details of what the club can do this year to best serve veterans in need.

The Sunshine Club will take off on a day long excursion to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Monday, Nov. 6.
