After a brief hiatus, Shuffleboard Club members are anxious to play again and are ready to pick up their cue sticks and push their discs for the spring season, which begins Tuesday evening, April 7, and Friday morning, April 10. There will be five teams on Tuesday and four teams on Friday. Susan Hopewell has stepped forward to become a captain for one of the teams this season. Monday morning

The LW Bocce Ball Club winter league celebrated on March 14 with new champions, Tom Schmitz and Franka Yeske, who won the final round of bocce. The spring season will begin the week of April 12 and continue until June. Rosters for the new season are complete, and new schedules have been issued. The club takes off for the summer and starts up again in early September. Leagues play on Tuesdays,
