LW BOCCE BALL CLUB The Senior vs. Senior Inaugural Geezer Tournament drew 16 members of the Leisure World Bocce Ball Club to Laguna Woods on May 29 to play against members of the Laguna Woods Bocce Social Club. The next tournament of the Tournament Poker Club is on June 22 for those who would like to play a fun and friendly game of Texas Hold ‘Em for a $5 buy-in. Regular tournaments are the first three Saturdays of every month in the lobby of Clubhouse 6 with registration beginning at 10 a.m., along with treats and coffee. Cards are in the air at 10:30. SHUFFLEBOARD CLUB The LW Shuffleboard Club has a history of fun traditions, and because of the generosity of club members, has been able to fund a memorial tournament with cash prizes for more than 15 years. Since 2022, longtime member Dave LaCascia has provided money for cash prizes for the Joan LaCascia Memorial Tournament, in honor of his mom who so enjoyed the Leisure World shuffleboard

LW Women’s Golf Club

LW Women’s Golf Club


The LW Women’s Golf Club plays a nine-hole tournament every Tuesday morning. First tee time is 7:30. Play is usually completed by 10. Spring luncheon is a success


LW WOMEN'S GOLF CLUB The LW Women’s Golf Club held its spring luncheon on June 4. Forty women attended the event, which started with balance education from Adrianne Rosenfeld. There was homemade Korean food prepared by the social committee of Hae Lee, Sandy Kim and Veronica Chang. Everyone raved about the delicious meal.
