The updated community website is now ADA accessible


On June 27, about 15 residents including members of the Vision and Hearing Impaired Club, attended an hour-long training session on how people with disabilities can access the new website. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) mandates that websites be accessible to blind and hearing impaired people. The new-and-improved LWSB website training was held in the Clubhouse 3 Learning Center.

Joyful Line Dance party is July 11

Joyful Line Dance party is July 11


Joyful Line Dance Club meets on Thursdays in Clubhouse 2 from 10-10:30 a.m. for beginners, from 10:30-11 a.m. for intermediate dancers, and from 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for advanced dancers. Athletic or dancing shoes are required. All attendees have to be registered members with a paid fee. On Thursday, July 11, the club will have a summer line dance party with a Korean dosirak lunch at noon. More

LW BICYCLE GROUP LW Bicycle Group members Bruce and Martha Vircks offi ciate at the monthly cooking class making enchiladas. The group meets at the North Gate on Sundays with breakfast, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m. Helmets and safe shoes are required. Wa-Rite

Wa-Rite


Female residents who want to find support on their weight-loss journey and meet like-minded people are welcome to stop by one of the Wa-Rite meetings at 9 a.m. The Wa-Rite is a women-only club and meets on Friday mornings from 9-10 in Clubhouse 3, Room 1. Weigh-ins are from 8-8:45. Dues are $10 a year, plus 10 cents upon signing in. That dime goes to the person who lost the most weight that week.
