Residents can get help signing up for the Ralphs Reward Program to benefit the Golden Age Foundation on Aug. 21, and every third Wednesday, in the Clubhouse 6 Hospitality Center from 9-11 a.m. Funds are used for the group’s five main service programs: Hospitality Center, mobility aids, income tax service, shredding, and battery recycling. LW BOCCE BALL CLUB The Laguna Woods Bocce Club has challenged Leisure World to another match in Laguna on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 4-7 p.m. Players should contact Vicki Mingus at vicki1291@yahoo.com by Friday, Aug. 16, if they would like to participate in this event. Those who would like to play a fun and friendly game of Texas Hold ‘Em for a $5 buy-in can play at the next tournament of the Tournament Poker Club on Saturday, Aug. 17. Regular tournaments are the first three Saturdays of every month in the lobby of Clubhouse 6 with registration beginning at 10 a.m., along with treats and coffee. Cards are in the air at 10:30. CRIBBAGE CLUB The Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday in Clubhouse 1 at noon. Refreshments are served from noon-12:15 and anyone arriving by 12:15 is assured a place to play. A total of seven games are played. One dollar is collected from each player who plays weekly and those finishing with the top four highest scores are awarded prize money the following week.
