People interested in learning more about space, celestial bodies and how the universe works are invited to join free lectures taught by LW resident and retired physics/astronomy teacher Jim Johns on Fridays at 10 a.m. via Zoom. People who are interested in trying karaoke are invited to join the Community Karaoke Club’s Monday practice sessions, which are a non-threatening way to begin. Club will visit Getty Villa on Sept. 26; tickets on sale


GARDEN CLUB All residents are invited to join the LW Garden Club for a tour of the Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades on Sept. 26. Tickets are $50 each and include a docent guided tour and a box lunch.
