California Science Exposition Center Nov. 4 bus trip


The Sunshine Club will take a day trip to the California Science Exposition Center in Los Angeles on Nov. 4. Sign ups are now available at the club meeting Fridays in Clubhouse 3, Room 2, at 10 a.m. Tickets are $80 per person. The bus will leave at 8:30 a.m. and return by 6 p.m. Fees will be collected at the sign up, no exception. The trip is all inclusive, including the popular Leonardo Da Vinci

Janet Isom donates car to the Emergency Information Council


Recently, The Emergency Information Council (EIC) gratefully received its first donated vehicle under the vehicle donation program with CarEasy.org. GRF President Janet Isom and her husband, and Mutual 16 President Dale Watkins, donated their unwanted 2001 Toyota Camry Solara. Although the car provided good service over the years it had outlived its usefulness and an exit strategy was needed.
