LWers invited to visit Battleship USS Iowa in honor of Veterans Day


GRF BUS TRIP In honor of Veterans Day, the Recreation Department is conducting a GRF bus trip to tour the Battleship Iowa on Thursday, Nov. 7. The USS Iowa served in World War II, the Korean War, and the Cold War. The ship earned 11 battle stars, thousands of sailors have called the ship home, and five U.S. presidents have visited it. Traveling Tigers Club


The Traveling Tigers will meet on Wednesday, Oct.16, at noon in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. The meeting will begin with a potluck.
