Every Wednesday, the Community Karaoke Club meets in Clubhouse 1 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. for a karaoke party. Singers gathered on Oct. 9. Karaoke night began with William Young, who gave the audience a strong performance with his song, followed by another hit tune with a toe-tappin’ rhythm sung by Ray Geierman. Harvest Moon is a vocal/acoustic duo featuring Leisure World residents Vickie Van Ert and Mike Simpson, playing hits from the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s and more.
