National Friends of the Library Week

National Friends of the Library Week


National Friends of the Library week is Oct. 20-26. The Friends of the Leisure World Library runs the bookstore adjacent to the LW Library. The volunteer group supports the library financially to augment resources and sponsor cultural programs. Over 40 Leisure Worlders volunteer their time each month to process and sell the community’s generous donations of books and various household items.
